Situated just outside White River in Mpumalanga, Oliver’s is an owner-managed boutique hotel located on the secure White River Country Estate. 

Overlooking the first green of the 18-hole championship White River Golf Course, our ‘home away from home’ environment allows guests to experience the marriage between Austrian flair and subtle African influences. 

Our bespoke accommodation in upmarket rooms includes family options as well as an in-house restaurant offering mouth-watering a-la-carte continental dishes, with our wine cellar providing the perfect venue to enjoy our raclette and fondue. 

Our on-site Wellness and Beauty Centre offers massages, face and body treatments, manicures, pedicures and waxing services. (Perfect for the Bridal Pamper Party!)

Guests staying with us have access to world class golf courses including Leopard Creek or day touring the Mpumalanga panorama with its attractions such as Kruger National Park, God's Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes and many other spectacular sights. 

With Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport a mere 15 minutes’ drive away, it is easy to see why Oliver’s is the perfect pre or post Safari stay.

THE LODGE

Nights are intimate and cosy in front of a blazing fireplace as the velvet darkness sets in. Utterly content, nightjars, owls and the merry midnight frogs will lull you to a peaceful sleep. 

We offer different room categories, which are as follows: 

MAIN HOUSE

3 Exclusive Double Rooms - The rooms all have a splendid view over the golf course and 2 have a spacious balcony. They have either Twin or King-sized beds and are individually furnished with en-suite bathrooms with separate showers and baths, heated towel-rails and luxury bathroom amenities. They are equipped with DSTV, telephone, minibar with snacks, air-conditioning, heater, coffee & tea facilities, hairdryer and bathrobes.

EXTENSIONS

4 Luxury Rooms - The Luxury Rooms are also individually furnished and include all the above-mentioned. They each have a fireplace with a cosy seating area in front. The bathrooms have a separate WC and bidet, spacious showers and corner baths with twin basins. 

2 Executive Suites - The Suites have a separate lounge and bedroom - each with its own fireplace. The Suites boast a private outside shower with views over the golf course.

Luxury Family House (max. 8 guests)

Situated right next to the lodge and in front of the pool, this private house offers 4 bedrooms (2 king-size and 2 queen-size), sleeping 8 people. Two of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other two rooms share a bathroom. The house also has an open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchenette walking out onto a private verandah. It is equipped with DSTV, telephone, minibar with snacks, air-conditioning, heaters, coffee & tea facility, safes, hairdryers and bathrobes. The house also offers 2 private and secure parking bays.

FAMILY COTTAGE

Situated right next to the lodge, this private cottage offers 2 separate double rooms (queen beds) each with an en-suite bathroom with showers only. The rooms share a lounge with a fireplace, small kitchenette and verandah. They are equipped with DSTV, telephone, minibar with snacks, air-conditioning, heater, coffee & tea facilities, hairdryer and bathrobes.

Welcome to our world of gourmet cuisine!  Delight in mouth-watering continental and mediterranean dishes from our a-la-carte menu served with only the finest South African wines from our well-stocked wine cellar. 

Enjoy friendly and personalised service in the tranquillity of our relaxed country ambience. Linger on our verandahs overlooking the golf course or enjoy a crackling fire in the lounge. 

We cater for any special occasions such as weddings, special family celebrations, engagements, conferences and team building. 

WINE CELLAR @ OLIVER'S

Enjoy a fun-dining experience with Fondue Chinoise and Swiss Raclette in the privacy and irresistible romantic ambience of our well stocked wine cellar. 

Raclette is a Swiss Cheese, which is melted with specially designed ovens over Baby Potatoes, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Baguette, Pickled Cucumbers, Onions and with our selection of Sauces as well as grilled Vegetables and Table Salad. The oven also has a hot plate on which one can grill a selection of meat to accompany your meal. Added to this experience, we offer Fondue Chinoise. Cook your meat in a soup stock and again enjoy this with the above condiments. 

The cellar may also be booked for private dinners and we will also gladly serve the a-la-carte menu.
